David Pipe's lightly raced Chartreux heads the betting at 7/1 for today's Pertemps Handicap Hurdle Final, the second race on the card and due off at 2.05.

Twenty three runners are expected to go to post including last year's Grand National winner Don't Push It, once again ridden by champion jockey Tony McCoy, and a best price 28/1 with Boylesports.

Northern challenger Knockara Beau tops the weights on 11s 12lb, but the finish is likely to be fought out by some better handicapped rivals.

Favourite Chartreux just managed to creep into the race off bottom weight of 10s 3lb, and must have a big chance after being put be with this race in mind since finishing third over the course and distance on new years day.

Irish challenger Sivota, the mount of Ruby Walsh, also looks attractively weighted on 10s 7lb, but in a wide open contest the value could lie with two 25/1 shots.

Kayf Aramis, a standout 25/1 with Stan James, won this race back in 2009 as well as finishing a creditable fifth last year behind Buena Vista, and Nigel Twiston-Davies' gelding now enjoys a massive 15lb pull in the weights with that rival.

This will be Kayf Aramis's first attempt in a handicap this season, having run in six races at Grade 1 or Grade 2 level since a creditable run in Newmarket's Cesarewitch back in October.

The 9 year-old will find this a lot easier than taking on the likes of Big Bucks and Grands Crus off level weights, and must go well for Sam Twiston-Davies off 10s 9lb ( including the riders 3lb claim ).

The other horse who takes the eye, and available at 25/1 with Bet365, Paddy Power and Stan James is the Warren Greatrex trained Barwell Bridge.

Wayne Hutchinson's mount has shown a liking for this course, finishing fifth in last year's Triumph Hurdle ( one place behind Carlito Brigante who scooted up in yesterday's Coral Cup ) and a possibly unlucky close second to Lush Life over course and distance last December.

Reportedly a sick horse when disappointing on his most recent start, Barwell Bridge has the ability to outrun his current price.
