Champion Hurdle hopeful Menorah has been declared on track for his next outing in Cheltenham's International Hurdle in nine days time by trainer Phillip Hobbs .

Having won the Greatwood Hurdle under top weight at the Cheltenham Open meeting and the Supreme Novice Hurdle at this year's Festival Menorah is very much on the upgrade and best price at 9/1 with William Hill for the Champion Hurdle at next year's Festival .

Hobbs believes Menorah will face a daunting challenge in the International Hurdle from Silviniaco Conti and Cue Card but confirmed that Menorah has "been in good form since the Greatwood Hurdle . He will have a 4lb penalty when he runs in the International for winning a Grade 1 . "

Blue Square have not changed their odds on the three horse's they are currently quoting before the entry stage for the International Hurdle with Menorah favourite at 13/8 .

It promises to be a great card at Cheltenham on Saturday 11th December which will almost certainly include the re-routed Tingle Creek Chase which is currently still scheduled for Sandown this coming Saturday but almost certain to be lost to the weather .
